How does a French guy end up as a sake sommelier in the Estonian countryside? It’s a long story, but the short version goes like this:

After many years in the specialty coffee world across England and Finland, I realised it was time to take a different path. Sake had always been a quiet passion, and eventually it became clear that sharing this craft was the direction I wanted to follow.

2023 marked the true beginning of Sake Calling. After earning my SSA Sake Sommelier certification with distinction, I had the opportunity to go further and take on the role of SSA Sake Educator in Estonia and Finland.

But with sake, learning never really stops — and that’s part of the magic. So I continued my journey, completing both the Sake Professional and Sake Scholar certifications. Each step deepening my understanding and strengthening my commitment to bringing the world of sake to more people.
